Track season is upon us again and DESMO has joined up with Fishtail Riding School, for DESMO's 6th annual pilgrimage to New Hampshire International Speedway. Ever wonder what a trackful of Ducatis sound like? Here's your opportunity to witness and even participate. This year's event will again be held on a Monday, June 9, 2008, so you have a perfect excuse to take the family on an extended getaway vacation up to scenic New Hampshire. It's earlier than last year's mid-July date so the weather should be perfect for a day on the track.

The new old team of Bruce and Susie, now with Fishtail Riding School will be hosting DESMO at Loudon for 2008. They organize an excellent event, second to none, for Ducati riders of all levels of experience. This is one of the best opportunities for you to learn to ride better in a controlled environment. This is a very LOW KEY and SUPER FUN day riding your Ducati at YOUR PACE on the track. It's NOT a race day and you are sure to learn something about yourself and your bike. The day is broken up into three groups: a beginner (aka newbie), an intermediate, and an advanced, so there's sure to be a group you fit into.

The cost for the 2008 day will be $215 per person if you sign up by April 30th and it included a hot lunch, plenty of bottled water, and a commemorative edition DESMO Track Day 2007 t-shirt. The price goes up to $240 after the April 30th cutoff. Sign up soon since space is limited to 60 participants so you will get plenty of track time with minimal track congestion. This event is restricted only to members of DESMO. If you are interested in attending, please fill out the track day database. This is not a binding agreement or anything, this database will only help us plan the day better for you.

Please remember that you will need appropriate gear for this event.
- full face helmet
- proper riding gloves and boots
- at the very least, a 2 piece riding suit made of either textile or leather
- a hard back protector is not required but highly recommended
- in addition to your personal gear, your bike will be required to pass a safety inspection

If there's sufficient interest, we'll plan some events or activities for the Friday and Saturday between the dates. As always, we'll plan a large dinner the night before (we had about 50 riders and guests last year), and possibly the night after.

Fishtail Riding School will be providing classroom instruction and offers low student to instructor ratio. This is a great day to meet and ride with other DESMOites. It's a great way to experience the track for your first time...with 50 of your closest Ducati-riding friends--a great day of riding and camaraderie!

NHIS (New Hampshire International Speedway) is located about 5 hours north of NYC in Loudon, NH. The Red Roof Inn is always a crowd favorite. Keep posted as the date gets nearer for words of a group DESMO discount at the Red Roof.

You DO NOT have to be a Fishtail customer to sign up for this day, but you DO need to be a DESMO member. Attendance is limited, and is on a first come, first served basis. Please sign up early, so you don't miss out.
