DESMO's Premier Event, BBQ 2008!

DESMO's Eighth Annual BBQ is on Sunday, August 17, 2008 at Thomas Bull Park in Hamptonburgh, NY (Orange County). Just like the past few years, we have a private section reserved with covered picnic tables, a softball diamond, a playground and a volleyball court. There is plenty of room for you and your family, and all are invited.
As always, we'll host our World Famous door prize raffle. We're currently rounding up some great swag from some of our favorite sponsors, in addition to some new sponsors. Expect trackdays, shirts and apparel, parts and accessories, oils, and cleaners. This will be our largest BBQ ever, don't miss out. The more members participating, the better the event. This is your chance to meet and mingle with scores of Ducatisti, talk about your bike, your trackday experiences, and check out the bling on everyone else's bike. We had well over 100 participants last year share in the fun. Bike Show Concurrently with the BBQ, we will host our Fourth Annual Bike Show. So, order that last minute bling (need a DESMO alternator cover plate?), and get ready to show off your loved one. Details are still being hashed out, but this will be great fun.
	Last year we had 55 entries and awarded trophies in 6 Award categories: Best of Show, Best Superbike, Best Supersport, Best Tourer, Best Monster, and Best Vintage. Here's your chance to vote for your favorite DESMO bike of them all in addition to your favorite Superbike, Monster, Sport-Tourer, and Vintage bikes. The winner of this year's Best of Show award will be taking home a very unique one-off trophy guaranteed to please. Additionally, the Stronzo, Pigpen, and the Bling Awards will be making their return with some new friends as well. Swap Meet For the first time at the BBQ, DESMO will host a Ducati-only Swap Meet. It's a great time to clean out your closet and garage, and a great time to pick up that elusive spare part. If the past three Swap Meets were any indication, there will be bikes, wheels, engines, jackets, gloves, clutch covers, brakes...if you can wear it or bolt it on...you'll probably find it there! Check our BBQ 2007 gallery for photos from last year and the Awards Gallery for last year's Bike Show winners. The price for adults is $27.50 each with children under 12, $13.75 each.
